| Medicine Interactions | 1. It has a synergistic antibacterial effect on certain sensitive strains when used in combination with aminoglycoside antibiotics. 2. It has been reported that aspirin may increase the plasma concentration of cefixime. 3. Combined use with aminoglycosides or other cephalosporins will increase nephrotoxicity. 4. Combined use with strong diuretics such as furosemide can enhance nephrotoxicity. 5. There may be mutual antagonism with chloramphenicol. 6.
