Use:
4-Methyl-2-pentanamine hydrochloride is mainly used in organic synthesis reactions as an intermediate for reactants or catalysts. It can also be used in the preparation of other organic compounds, such as pharmaceuticals and pesticides.
Preparation Method:
Generally, 4-Methyl-2-pentanamine hydrochloride can be obtained by reacting 4-Methyl-2-pentanamine with hydrochloric acid. During the reaction, methyl-2-pentylamine was dissolved in an alcohol solvent, and then hydrochloric acid was slowly added to give 4-Methyl-2-pentanamine hydrochloride crystals.
