Product Information Description:

 CAS 1135-24-6 Ferulic Acid is a phenolic acid extracted from the resin of Ferulic acid. Ferulic acid is a perennial herbaceous plant in the Umbelliferae family, with a strong garlic odor. It is found in sandy areas and mainly produced in Xinjiang. At first, it only has roots and leaves, and it begins to flower and stem in the fifth year. The flower stem is thick and robust, reaching up to 2 meters high; From late spring to early summer, from the flowering stage to the early fruit stage, cut diagonally from the upper part of the stem to collect the exuded milky resin, and dry it in the shade. Ferula contains volatile oil, resin, gum, etc. The oil contains a variety of organic acidifiers, such as (R) - sec butyl 1-propenyl disulfide, 1 (1-methylthiopropyl) 1-propenyl disulfide, sec butyl 3-methylthio allyl group disulfide, etc. The resin contains ferulic acid and its esters.

1. Reduce blood lipids
Ferulic acid can competitively inhibit the activity of hydroxyvalerate 5 pyrophosphate dehydrogenase in the liver, inhibit the synthesis of cholesterol in the liver, and thus achieve the goal of lowering blood lipids.
2. Antibacterial effect
The inhibitory effect of ferulic acid on bacteria is more broad-spectrum.
