Products Description

Pistillate is one of arsenic sulfide minerals. Monoclinic crystal system, the crystal is short columnar, plate-like, the aggregate is flake, rod, powder or kidney with radial structure. The color is lemon yellow (slightly green). Streaks bright yellow. Grease luster to diamond luster. The sheet is transparent and flexible. Hardness 1.5 ~ 2, density 3.4 ~ 3.5g/cm3. It does not conduct electricity. Charcoal on the fire is easy to melt, the flame is blue, white smoke and garlic smell. Fusible in potassium hydroxide with no residue. Mainly produced in low temperature hydrothermal deposits, often with realgar, stibnite, pyrite, quartz and other symbiosis

Application

The weather resistance and durability of titanium nickel yellow is better than rutile titanium white, which can be used in coil steel coatings, automotive coatings, vehicles and aviation coatings, and also used in signs, road signs and coatings and plastics. For the excellent stability of titanium nickel yellow, can be used in high temperature application of high temperature resistant coatings, plastic injection at high temperature and other heat resistant coatings. Titanium nickel yellow chemical stability is good, can be used in chemical plant equipment and wall paint, cement paint, latex paint and acid curing amino resin paint. Titanium nickel yellow is non-toxic and can be used in toy coatings and toy plastics, food packaging plastics and printing inks for food cans. The main disadvantages of titanium nickel yellow are light color, low coloring power, particle size is much rougher than titanium dioxide, poor dispersion, should not be used as a yellow pigment alone, mostly used as a yellow base and other organic yellow pigments, for light color weather resistant external coatings.
