Benznidazole Function

Benznidazole is a purine nucleoside composed of a molecule of adenine attached to a ribose sugar molecule (ribofuranose) moiety via a β-N9-glycosidic bond. Benznidazole is widely found in nature and plays an important role in biochemical processes, such as energy transfer-as Benznidazole triphosphate (ATP) and Benznidazole diphosphate (ADP)-as well as in signal transduction as cyclic Benznidazole monophosphate (cAMP).

Benznidazole Application

1. Benznidazole can be used in children, with the same 5-7 mg/kg per day weight-based dosing regimen that is used to treat adult infections.
