Application

The active ingredient of triprorelin is a synthetic gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) similar, also known as seramrelin, Dufferin, Dapigacin, gonarelline, is an anti-tumor drug, pharmacological effects with goserrelin, buserrelin, its structural improvement is the natural molecular structure of the sixth L-glycine replaced by D-tryptophan, It has more significant promoting effect, longer plasma halftime and higher drug potency. Intramuscular injection initially stimulates the pituitary gland to release luteinizing growth hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH). When the pituitary gland enters the refractory period after prolonged stimulation, the release of gonadotropin is reduced, thus reducing the sex hormone to castration levels. These effects are reversible. Subcutaneous administration of the drug was rapidly absorbed, Tmax was 15min, the maximum effect was 1h, and intramuscular injection of the sustained-release preparation could maintain the curative effect for more than 28d. Clinically, it is mainly used to treat endometriosis, hormone-dependent prostate cancer, breast cancer, true precocious puberty in children, and can also be used in assisted fertility technology.
